"Motel located a main street, so easy to find. Received text containing room number and door code prior to arrival. Motel is modern and clean. All roomx have heat pumps, so cozy all year long. Parking right outside room door and all rooms on ground floor. Though staff are not on site, they are easy to contact via phone and they are extremely friendly and helpful. Motel is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. From what I could see, I think this is the nicest motel/hotel in Stratford. Highly recommended!"

"The place is amazing! Nice little spot right next to the Mangorei track. Beautiful views of the mountain on the drive to the house and views of the harbour inside the hut. Lovely house with everything inside you"

"The interior of the tiny house is lovely, however the pictures on the listing cleverly avoid showing the surrounding area. There are no trees or fences to provide privacy from the main house, the contiguous cabin or the hiking track that runs through the property. The .main house is barely 10mts away, we could here music coming from it at night. The other cabin is a mere 2mts away and the walking track barely 3mts from the cabin. We had to close the black out rolling curtains once we realized walkers were looking into our window directly at us in bed. Same goes for toilet use. You pretty much are in a glass display box unless every curtain is down. The bbq is shared use, there are no mountain views from the property and the front yard had all sorts of things lying around such as roofing iron, a wheelbarrow and even a pitched tent. All in all we felt like we were in a trailer park/junk yard, but in a nicely put together caravan. It was difficult to get in touch with the owners, most replies were automated messages and the person in the property merely manages things for them. We booked 2 nights, stayed for one since we had arrived late and left the second day. We are still waiting to hear back to arrange a refund."

"Amazing views of Mount Taranaki from the hot tub room. Heated towel racks. Impeccably clean. Would’ve loved to stay here more nights. Great stay after driving through from the Forgotten World Highway. If you are sensitive to noise, it is on a main road but that didn’t bother us at all."
