"The hotel room was of a good size and the location was great, really close to everything in the center of downtown Hualien. Apart from the room being a bit run down, everything in the room worked well for a few nights' stay. We found the daily cleaning of the room quite inconsistent, and had to inform the hotel reception a few times that used cups were not replaced with fresh ones daily, despite several reminders. We had a fabulous stay and loved the new modern look of the hotel. The decor and feel of the hotel makes you feel like you're in a building with the French quarter. "Very clean and quiet hotel. Conveniently located in downtown Hualien. Less than 10 minute walk to many awesome restaurants. Free covered parking. The owner was very friendly and spoke very good English. The large deep bathtub was an added bonus. Only a 10 minute drive to the beach."
