"Very pleasant stay! Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was eco friendly, which meant they only provided soap and shampoo in the bathroom. The rest, such as toothbrush, shower cap, etc were still available at reception for purchase. There was free 24 hr snack bar service, which included instant noodles, biscuits and drinks. A minor issue was the bed was slightly hard for my liking and the lighting in the bathroom was quite dim. But not a major concern."

The one negative which I take to be green washing is that the room was not cleaned which would be fine if the guest only stayed a day or two, but we stayed four days and the room should have been cleaned. "Hotel seems quite new. Room is fairly spacious and beds are comfortable. Shower has good pressure and consistent temperature. Breakfast (vegetarian) spread is very good and tasty. Hotel has own car park sites just behind the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is great - walking distance to night market and several famous eateries. Will definitely stay here again if I come to Hualien"

"It is not a 5 star hotel but it does have everything a traveler need. A comfortable bed, clean room, good strong hot water and easy access to food! The bathroom doesn’t have a tub but everything in the bathroom works and clean. Room is a little tight after we put our luggages in the room. Furnishing is not the most luxurious but it is simple and practical. In the lobby they provide free coffee and tea as well as various type of cookies. They also have bicycle you can borrow.
