"We were not given the large room we had deliberately booked, so 2 stars down just for that. The hotel is designed for conferences and large corporate events. During our stay it was virtually empty. In the lobby there are plenty of large, modern and uncomfortable chairs and sofas. I did not find somewhere relaxing to sit, certainly not in the room either. Breakfast was good and staff always had a smile."

"Arrived in Bergen by train at 17:00. Was a short walk but very doable even carrying my pack. Location was great for walking around site seeing. Close to many food options and bars. Service in Hotel was wonderful. Great stay. "
