"Beautifully decorated rooms and bathrooms made use of natural materials and modern fixtures. We could hear monkeys in the morning from the balcony! Dining area overlooking the lovely pool was picturesque. Breakfast was excellent. The staff went all out to accommodate us. Josue at the front desk helped us when our Waze let us down and was there to welcome us with coconuts! I wish I could remember more names because the entire staff was top notch. "

"A great hotel just south of Puerto Viejo. Very good pool (with 2 large hot tubs). Direct accesss onto beautiful Caribbean beach. The restaurant was good although seemed quite quiet and therefore lacking some atmosphere- The only problem was that I had booked a ‘family bungalow’ by the pool thinking this would be great for a family of 4 with 2 teenage children, but these bungalows have 2 bedrooms with a single queen bed in each, and no flexibility to put in two single beds.
