"Our family chose to spend their family Christmas at the Manchester’s Farm for the second year in a row. The size, location and accommodations are perfect. Our children all live in the Windham area and it was easy for them to come for the day. Our grandchildren did have the opportunity to spend some alone time with Mimi and Poppi and they love the farmhouse!Thanks to the Manchester’s for the Christmas tree. It added the perfect touch to our stay."

"Mark’s home was lovely and comfortable for our family reunion. The hosts were very easy to access and incredibly accommodating. My young children loved the playroom and spent hours in there the first day. We enjoyed exploring the area very much. Though we had talk for 4 days, the house had plenty of room to spread out."

"This farmhouse is massive with plenty of space for everyone to sleep. Everything we needed was there and the water pressure in the showers was great. I can't wait to try the maple syrup! "

"Enjoyed being more in the country, yet easy to drive to Portland and to Manchester. Loved having the pool table. Barn is terrific! Lots of room to spread out. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. Loved the owner's mom. She was very welcoming. Thanks for a lovely stay!"

"Maple Moon Farm is perfectly historic and you can tell within 5 minutes of meeting him that the owner of the farm, Frank, loves history and loves his property.Check in was easy, and communication with Frank was spectacular. He was responsive to all messages I sent him.The icing on the cake was the tour of the farm and sugar house which turned into a great educational experience. If you like historic buildings and all the quirks that come with them then this is the place stay. Highly recommend!"

"Overall, the stay was great. The lower-level suite was a bit noisy, as we were at ground level; however, I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for full amenities and a short commute to everything in downtown Portland. "

great snowy weekend

"this is a great older hotel in Portland with tons of character, excellent location, and wonderful staff. Bed was super comfy, great water pressure in the shower (in a huge bathroom), multiple restaurant and lounge areas, and the clean and well maintained sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi were all awesome. definitely plan on valet'ing the car. would definitely stay again "
