"Lovely quiet spot away from the crowds in Yufuin, excellent food and fantastic service. The hotel is older but has been maintained. The rooms are simple but clean, large and comfortable. As all rooms in Japan there is limited places to put suitcases and unpack fully. Lobby and restaurant are beautiful and very modern. Highly recommended. "

For example, on both nights that we stayed at Kazahaya, he helped us select a local restaurant, escorted us to our choice, explained the menu to us, and placed our orders for us. It is old building, old furniture and bath room, heating system worked ok, but very old system. Old carpet. Typical Japanese business hotel size which is tiny. Free small breakfast (very basic) was a nice touch. Everyone there was sincere and I needed to stay one night in budget hotel by myself. "

There was noone to get any information, we did not get a cancellation or a notification.
