"Enjoyed our 2-night stay. Hospitality was excellent - all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was first class, private outdoor onsens were wonderful. We also had good fun playing ping pong in the game room, and the massage chairs were an added bonus. Great location too. We appreciate all the attention to details that made our stay memorable. "Lovely quiet spot away from the crowds in Yufuin, excellent food and fantastic service. The hotel is older but has been maintained. The rooms are simple but clean, large and comfortable. As all rooms in Japan there is limited places to put suitcases and unpack fully. Lobby and restaurant are beautiful and very modern. Highly recommended. "

"I love that this hotel was completely different than what I expected. Upon arriving I was pleasantly surprised by the bed & breakfast style of the hotel and the nostalgic memorabilia displayed throughout the hotel as well. The staff was very informative and accommodating to my needs while speaking english. I felt right at home. The free hot chocolate was delicious which I sipped graciously in the living room after a hot soak in the private onsen. I had such a relaxing experience. I am looking forward to visiting Yufuin again and returning to this hotel! "
