"Jena made everything about our stay in Bear Escape Cottage wonderful. Waking up to the view from the back window was truly worth the drive from Virginia Beach. Port Republic is very small, but close to Harrisonburg, though there are many good restaurants and lots of places to visit and see close by. Thank you, again, Jena. We hope to visit again!"

"This cottage was the perfect place for us! It's in a very quiet neighborhood near a park that has a trail by the river and plenty of picnic tables. There is a grocery store nearby, good restaurants and just about anything else you would need. The house was spotless and we arrived to find snacks, and milk, eggs and butter already in the fridge. We highly recommend!"

"The property itself was fine. The tv would not work and it took 3 calls to maintenance. Once they got it on, it kept skipping and freezing every 10-15 seconds for the remainder of the visit. So trying to relax was immensely frustrating, especially with 3 kids wanting to chill and watch tv. "
