"Stayed for one night in room 20 which is a family room. The room was spacious and well equipped with tea/coffee facilities, USB charging, plenty of sockets, large bath and roomy shower. It is also well laid out for a family room with 2 separate areas. The double bed for the grown ups was good, although the sheet could have been a little bigger as it kept coming off and wouldn’t tuck back around. "We stayed here as a couple but also as part of a larger family group, including my niece and nephew (12 and 8 respectively). Our room was the Illingworth room. It was huge, facing out across the road to the lovely old church. Road noise was minimal and the bed extremely comfy with good pillows which were not too soft, perfect for us. We slept well. "A fabulous little gem. The bar man even fixed my broken heel! Now that's going above and beyond. The lovely ladies even made My dog his own sausage for breakfast. Beds were comfy. My only issue would be it's a little bit cold in places but it's a old building whose owners (not staff) need to give it a bit of TLC "
