"Wow what a beautiful place. Fabulous room, huge comftable bed with modern bathroom and very refreshing power shower.The room was well stocked with lively teas, coffees and biscuits, no scrimping ! Following morning we had a really beautiful breakfast in a gorgeous breakfast room from a lovely friendly team. It was all topped off with a fall overnight of snow, so we woke up to a stunning winter wonderland. Cant recommend highly enough we will definitely be back and definitely to the Staverley...

"Grassington is a really picturesque village, the property is right in the heart of the village, good pubs etc. We had 2 full days and did long walks along the River Wharfe each day - beautiful countryside. Comfort, condition & eco are all rated high considering the property is apprx 400 years old. The breakfast is top notch whatever your diet, and lots of it! One caveat - the driveway is very narrow with stone walls - a big car could be a problem."

"The studio room we stayed in was lovely and cosy. Everything felt very high-end from the decor to the coffee machine. There wasn’t one thing I’d change. The free parking at the back of the building was an added bonus too. It was the perfect base to explore Harrogate Centre, 5 minute walk and you’re in the centre. Totally recommend this place and very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. "

"A great place to stay, clean, comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed for the one night of our stay. Lovely served breakfast by a really pleasant girl who was on her own but remained calm and efficient under pressure. Two small criticisms,couldn’t find plain old terrestrial tv but everything else available and the “garden room” we booked turned out to be the front garden on to the main road. "Very cozy for a solo traveller. I like it when BnB's cater for them in that the room was no bigger than it needed to be and bathroom had shower/bath. The breakfasts were excellent. Fresh fruit buffet with a big selection of berries, cereals and some ham and cheese. As well as this they offer fresh cooked full English and other things you would get at a restaurant. "What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. "

"Lovely property set in a great location. In a super setting and with other villages close by this makes this a really good choice to explore the Dales. The cottage is warm , cosy and very comfortable and in a clean condition. With paths all over the place if you a walker it’s a great spot. Our host Sue was very communicative through our stay which was Helpful. Certainly one of the best cottages we have stayed at and we hope to return ! "

"Great two bedroom cottage quality fittings, well equipped, and in a fantastic location close to all of the pubs, restaurants, and shops. We used it as a base to do two long walks and then in the evening just walk out and back to the entertainment on offer. "
