"Staying in this jungle oasis, it's hard to imagine how close you are to an active volcano and all the destruction and lava flows there. The house is even prettier than in the pictures, and the landscaping which seems completely natural is gorgeous.The beds are very comfortable with soft, warm comforters for the chilly nights at that elevation. Wifi was excellent and living and dining rooms were quite comfortable.Our host was wonderful with excellent communication before our arrival and she left...

"Nice quiet area. Enjoyed the orange and lemon trees. Birds, frogs and bugs were quite noisy but could barely be heard when the house was closed up. A gallon pitcher, funnel and juicer would be helpful. "

"We loved every minute while at this beautiful paradise. The lanai was the show stopper and our absolute favorite. The surf was pretty rough during our stay but it made for a spectacular site during high tide. It never got old sitting and watching it. "

It's a bit of a drive to swimming beaches and one of the bedrooms is only accessed by walking through another bedroom, but we would absolutely go again. The owners were nearby and very helpful too. "A gorgeous house that accommodated 8 adults, located close to the water and fairly close to the beaches. Very convenient to have 3 bathrooms. We absolutely loved that the kitchen was fully stocked and had lots of dishes to use, as we cooked for most of our meals. The pool was very relaxing after a day of exploring the island. Host was very responsive and communicated well. Would highly recommend! "

"This property was great. It was just what we needed as a family traveling with a little one ( 20 Months). The place was well equipped with all things cooking, to go containers, and just about every appliance one might need for cooking their own meals.It was great to have this place as a home base as we ventured out for the day.
