"The Orchard is a fantastic property. The place is shiny new with top fixtures and a lovely layout that is comfortable but also blends in with the strongly bucolic spirit of the region. We didn't mind the lack of tv as it encouraged us to really venture out and explore the Cotswolds. Painswick is a beautiful Cotswold village and the property is a few minutes walk from the centre, where you will find excellent pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. A short drive takes you to Stroud where you will find all the major supermarkets and stores together with an impressive farmers market on a Saturday. Arriving to the most comprehensive "welcome pack" we have ever encountered we have no hesitation in recommending this property. 10 out of 10"

"Steve and Dawn were so amazing throughout - from our planning until the end of our star. We were a bit concerned that the stores will be closed and stressing about what to eat over Christmas and Boxing Days. Dawn checked the stores across the street and even purchase milk and bread for us. They are very sweet and communicative throughout. "

"This is an outstanding property for a large group or family gathering. The house is very well equipped and comfortable, especially the bedrooms and bathrooms. The location is ideal for anyone wanting quiet country walks amongst wonderful countryside or as a base for exploring Cotswold villages and nearby towns. Good pubs close by but you must drive a few miles to buy provisions."
