"We enjoyed staying at this home in Arnold, which is close enough to walk to the brewery/restaurant, grocery store and other necessities, and a short drive to Calaveras Big Trees Park. The home is large and comfortable. The host kindly let check in early on a Saturday and was very communicative. We enjoyed playing horseshoes in the backyard. The kitchen is extremely well stocked for cooking. The blankets and linens could use a deep clean, and the yard some tidying, but we were comfortable."

"A historic early 20th century neighborhood with some amazing Victorian homes. A great walking experience to the Gold Rush downtown. A good hike though back to the property. We walked down Stewart St and home on Washington St. The property was a home that fit the period. Comfortable amenities and an inviting front porch to watch the traffic go by. We didn’t spend anytime in lower level patio. Everyone we passed on our walks were friendly and welcoming. "

"We had a great time with my family of four and our two small dogs. There was plenty of room and it was a great location. The pilot light was out in the fireplace, but that was fixed within an hour, thank you very much. There was also no sponge to wash dishes, but that was fixed quickly as well. Plenty of room in the cabin to relax and play. Close to snow. We loved that the back deck was fenced for our dogs. Overall we were very happy and would go back."

"We did not expect a 2 story condo with 1.5 baths, a kitchen and 2 balconies decks. It was beautiful in the pine trees and you could hear a pin drop. There was a gas bbq and a wonderful indoor pool and jacuzzi. It is an older property that could use some screen doors to open some sliders and a few repairs with kitchen drawers that fell out. We should have brought salt, pepper, foil as we did not bring some of these basics. Overall we had a fabulous stay and would like to return again. "
