"No space to move. Shower cubicle encrusted with grime, basin without hot water, no toilet paper. Nobody available to assist with anything. Guests are given a contact number, but get hung up on if they ring it. On the plus side, the bed was reasonably comfortable. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else."

Apartment was very spacious, clean, had some thoughtful touches and had all the things you need. It looks better when you are there. Host was attentive, friendly and very helpful. We had a slight issue with the key safe but it was resolved in speedy time. Definitely would recommend. 5* slight"

"Communication with the property manager was very timely and the check in instructions were easy to follow and allowed easy entry when we arrived late in the evening. The managers made a point to meet with us in person the next day to answer any questions. The location is PERFECT, right by the trains and gondolas. The home was clean and well furnished with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in Grindelwald!!!"

"Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! "

"We spent 10 wonderful days staying at Chalet Barbara. The chalet is very clean and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. "This is an incredible place to stay! Your view from an altitude of 4500 feet looking across at the snowcapped Wetterhorn Is lovely, with excellent views of the valley below and the Schwartzhorn as well. "Our stay was just about perfect. There were six of us, and we couldn't have found a spot that fitted our needs better (spending mornings walking and appreciating the local surrounds, and afternoons exploring Luzern, Interlaken, and lots of scenic places nearby). Their homemade cheese was delicious as well! The beds were comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. Highly recommend!"
