"Lovely hotel - we had the executive double with sea view - very comfortable king size bed, nice white bed and bathroom linen, large room with two bucket chairs and great sea view, tea/coffee, lovely clean bathroom with very hot water and great shower. Excellent breakfast and bar snacks. All staff from cleaning, reception, bar and breakfast room extremely friendly and helpful. Didn’t use the spa but looked nice and very popular. Paid for parking at back of hotel but TBH the parking at the front...

"Good rooms, clean & tidy & decent amenities. The evening food is good as is the range of drinks. The staff are very helpful & friendly. The only negative is the breakfast, which doesn't offer a decent range or VFM."

"Initially booked into room 7 ( annex) . Hadn't fully appreciated the access issues / stairs / downstairs toilet/ wardrobe. Staff were brilliant and moved to room 15 inside hotel immediately. Friendly staff , great food and only 1.5 miles from Whitby . ( Although Park and Ride does not start until Spring) . Would certainly book again ."
