"We had a brilliant weekend. The staff were first class. The hotel upgraded our room free of charge when they heard it was our ruby wedding. The views from our room were nothing short of spectacular. Although the hotel is a little ‘tired’ in places it did not detract anything from the weekend. The hotel has character and class. It gives the impression of being remote, but it is tucked away on the top of the cliffs close to the main Whitby to Scarborough road. Food was very good and the bar had a great ambience. Highly recommend."
