"Cant fault the receptionist and the room is cery clean and a good size. Only problem is the window frame is bent so the windows dont seal and the traffic on the main road is constant which means its very difficult to sleep "

"I didn't actually stay the night in the end after checking in and going to the room it was clear the hotel needs alot of work it's old dirty everything is dusty or covered on marks honestly the single worst hotel experience I have ever had I actually couldn't bring myself to stay I then booked into the Travelodge up the road "

It was an absolutely fantastic experience we had a courtyard room which I thoroughly recommend, everything was amazing the staff were attentive and professional and the food was great. "Arrived on foot from the nearest bus stop. The pub hanging sign is missing so i entered the premises and confirmed with the cheery lady working the bar that i was in the right place😁 After the paperwork was completed i had to pay a £50 non-smoking deposit which i expect to see refunded onto my card. I was shown to room 13, a single room, as booked and also shown where the washroom was. The room contained a kettle, tea, coffee, a fan, a nightlight and a small flat screen TV, so was well appointed. The time for breakfast was also discussed and selected. All the staff i encountered were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was cereal, toast and also a cooked meal as well. Fried egg, grilled tomato, baked beans, 2 sausages and 3 rashers of bacon. Perfect! On leaving, i asked where the nearest bus stop was which headed out of town. Turns out that it is right opposite the pub! Again, perfect! For those driving, there is a car park accessible to the rear of the property via Chiltern Road."
