The room that I was given had a broken kettle, which was replaced immediately I had reported it. The room was average, and it was disappointing to have a creaky mattress, and to wake up facing a wall covered in stains, and crayon scribbles. For a cool autumn evening the room was overly hot, reaching 24.5 C with the window open and no way to control the temperature. The staff are polite and friendly. The restaurant has nice Indian food, but I did have trouble with one of my dishes which was served with lashings of the ingredients that I had carefully and clearly explained that I was unable to eat - so be super clear if you have allergies etc. I did not have the breakfast, so cannot comment. Parking at the back of the hotel is very convenient. There is a restaurant next door which serves standard pub-grub and a large Sainsbury's (not obvious as it is a side entrance) directly opposite the front of the hotel. The hotel is a short walk from the train station.

Nice & clean, staff where ok... The shower needs a little update... A little worn out small bits of the wall.... Also tap water came out more then the tap itself. Bedroom was perfect.... I rang for more toilet rolls they gave them straight away. I asked for more pillows & they sorted it out straight away. Very good service... Not much different varieties in buffet. It was ok but need more warm food, it would be great. I had dinner it was good the amount of food. Food was hot not bad for around £12. A group of people came in and they got a judge of water & paper napkins but I wasn't offered any of this at all. I know these people didn't ask for it as they walked very close to me & I could hear all that they where saying before they sat down & that is when the judge was placed on the table. Do they just give water of judge to group's of people?. There was white material napkins on the table but no good if your eating something red or orange. Over all I give this hotel a 3 & a half star... Anyway, this is my OPINION & advice white bed sheets isn't a good idea but the beds are very beautiful & super clean. It's just if something happens specially if you have children & something is spilt or falls on the bed sheets by accident. It's difficult to take out and alot of hard work.

Handy location for where we needed to be. Staff were lovely. Let’s be honest - it’s a tired hotel. The mattress was waaay past it’s used by date. The lift wasn’t going to win the Olympics either. The breakfast however was adequate for a continental and the woman as the host was a delight. Please pass on our gratitude. All in all a pleasant enough stay for our needs.

We had two nights stay hotel we had no room served hotel was fairly empty don’t fall for breakfast including there hardly anything in free breaky all you get toast and croissants and slices of cheese on one day and the next day instead of cheese they replaced it for slices of ham some choices of cereals if you really want hot breakfast u have to pay for it overall pretty average place

Despite asking 3 times for the hairdryer none ever turned up. The accessible room was disappointing. The brightwear in the bathroom was tarnished. We had to request someone to attend to the bar next to the toilet as it would not move and there were only 2 bolts holding it on the wall. The extractor fan did not work so the bathroom felt damp. There was no way a disabled person would be able to have a shower unless they brought their own bathboard. The food in the evening was very enjoyable but the cost was not added to your room bill, a fact that you were not told which was a little awkward. There were only 2 designated disabled parking spaces and one of those was at the front of the hotel and was not accessible due to tables placed upon. The one at the rear was fine as long you got there early and a non blue badge hadn't parked in it.
