It made sense for the hotel to do this for the rooms that are not in preferred view locations.. in all, for the price especially, it was a beautiful resort."

"First of all, the overall resort is excellent. Close to the airport, great access to the beach for morning sunrise, close proximity fun adventures off-property.On the downside, the property manager is not very responsive. We stayed at the resort with two other couples who were renting VRBO's from another property owner. "Luke warm water in shower 50% of time - spoke with Mgt and improved slightly, COLD water in swimming pools, hot tubs in lava rock setting was cool, Nice Long Sandy Beach, beautiful kept grounds, close to Lihue, mattress was too firm, chickens awaken you at 4 am everyday, resort designated smoking area 50 ft from outside balcony, Air freshener prior to arrival was way too aromatic, chickens jump on tables and surround you when eating at poolside, Shave Ice was nice, daily Parking fee of $22.50...
