"The owner , Sunny, was great. She was reachable very easily. The location of the property was great, near Seoul station, however, if you have a person with mobility issues , this place can be challenging. The dining room and the second bath room were on the second floor, and there are narrow stairs. From Seoul station to the property, even though it wasn’t far, it was very steep. We worked out just from that. Two people had some knee issues, so it was little tough. But if you don’t have any...

"A really beautiful space with traditional architecture. The cozy space is very well utilised and has style. A great area with coffee shops, restaurants and bars all in easy walking distance. Very convenient for Seoul Station just down the hill. The stairs are steep and the mattress is firm, but if these things suit you it will be a fantastic stay. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer as originally planned. Sunny is a great host, communicative and accomodating. Would recommended to anyone!"

"The property is as clean and beautiful as the photos. It is always a comfort to return after a long day out especially in the cold winter weather. There is some walking to do and stairs to climb, but the view and the comfort of home makes it up. It is also never difficult to call a taxi via K-ride and it works out to be economical for a family of 4. Most important of all is we are hosted by a kind and awesome owner. "One week stay with my wife and 15 year old son. Just wonderful. Two bedrooms and a full basement "Netflix" room could serve as a third. The radiant floor heating took some getting used to but lends itself to a cozy warm feeling of home, especially after wandering the interesting intricate streets of Seoul in mid February. Great location, accessible to markets, banks, transportation (bus and subway), restaurants, etc. Couple of things we were disappointed in were that we had 4 adults staying at the apartment but we were only provided bath towels enough for two adults. "We stayed here during one of the hottest weeks of the summer in Seoul and it was a beautiful, air conditioned oasis that we spent more time in than we thought we would. The house is so well designed to maximize the spaces. It has everything you need and is aesthetically beautiful to boot. The host speaks wonderful English and is incredibly thoughtful. He met us at the street to show us how to get in and to explain all the features of the house. This is not the typical Hanok. It's an art space....

"Didn’t really like the place"

"Our large group (including 2 toddlers and 2 grandparents) stayed here for a week. We didn't have a car, but the bus was very convenient for our group. It really felt like a home that someone cares about. Very clean, comfortable beds, thoughtful design touches, and Kitae was an EXCELLENT host - very hospitable and proactive. We stayed at several different places during our Korea trip, and this was our favorite stay! Thank you Kitae!"

"It took some understanding on the shower…as it was cold water only at first. Once we figured that out, all was good with it! It’s a little small, but since we were out and about almost all the days, it worked out. The price was great! The host got back to us promptly when we had a few questions the first days. I would suggest a couple of more bath towels and an additional bathroom water squigee to help dry the bathroom floor on the main floor. The supplied hangers were nice to hang some clothes...

"When you go to the museum and see a historic map of Seoul, you can find this street in the center. It was a walk to all the sites l. There was a traditional village, historic shopping area, all the palaces, and the market all within a mile. A historic looking house in a residential neighborhood with all the modern amenities. What a find."

"We loved our stay at Seoul Ari! The home was beautiful, so clean and every detail has been thought through. From our communication, to letting us leave our bags before check-in so we didn’t have to roll them around with us for hours, special amenities and gifts, a beautiful and clean home- this stay was 5 stars across every category!
