"Good place to stay in Hamburg. The rooms are reasonably sized and have enough storage space for a two suitcases to be open whilst still allowing people to move around. The rooms are very quiet. Bed is comfy. Air conditioning works. Two things I would change if I could: the desk & chair are rather pathetic - you're not going to get any serious work done here. The other thing is the magazine rack which hangs from a lampshade next to the side of the bed. It looks good but it's a pain in the arse...

"The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the central railway station along the road that passes outside the main entrance. My room was very spacious and overlooked a side street so was incredibly quiet for a location so close to the train station. The breakfast was well stocked and offered a good choice for all diets. "The hotel is in an excellent location for restaurants, fast food outlets and transport as the hotel is practically opposite the main train station. Our room was adequate and clean. Continental breakfast was very nice. My only concern was the twin mattress. Mine kept sliding away and had a big dent in from someone quite heavy in weight I would say. I kept trying to fall off the bed. Once I changed the mattress around it was fine. I enjoyed my stay in Hotel Continental."
