"Very nice hotel in a great location. The only issue was that it was very hot when I was there, and there is no air conditioning. But, the staff moved me to a different area of the hotel where the room was a bit cooler."

"The Westin Hamburg Hotel is one of our most favorite hotels in Europe. The hotel is especially convenient for us going to Elbphiharmonie almost every evening. The view from our suite is spectacular! We shall definitely return to Hamburg just for the Westin and Elbphilharmonie!"

"The Empire Riverside Hotel was a great option for a first time visit to Hamburg! Located in St Pauli between the Reeperbahn and the St Pauli Piers, you had walking access to not only St Pauli itself, but also Altona, Neustadt, and the City Centre, all within roughly 20-30 minutes. Having easy access to the Piers, made it easy to see the area by water, on either a local city cruise or a river cruise of the Elbe. St Pauli is also full of shops and restaurants, which means you have easy access to food. And, the hotel itself was great, offering amazing views of the surrounding area. The staff were great and able to accommodate any issues that came up. Highly recommend staying at the Empire if you’re visiting Hamburg or St Pauli."

"The staff, particularly the Operations Manager, were super helpful to accommodate my imposed change of plans - thank you! The hotel is great: nice staff, big selection for tasty breakfast, fabulous location for ferry to central Hamburg, and not far from altesland."

"It is in a pretty setting, the village is beautiful, the location is not the easiest with one bus trip per hour but the service was spectacular! Our only regret was that there was a problem with the hot water for the showers a few of the days. But the customer service and breakfast and dinner buffets helped us to forget any inconveniences we experienced. I would love to go back and stay on vacation. "
