"The property is beautiful and in the off season the price was reasonable. The breakfast is over the top, lots of choices. The coffee was the only breakfast issue and the staff needs to be trained in this area, it was often cold or prepared improperly. The beach is wonderful but the area behind the lounges needs to be cleaned, it looked terrible. The construction on the port side was super loud and created industrial smell that was unpleasant. "Amazing hotel, truly fantastic facilities at a very good prices. Front desk informative and helpful. It’s a very nice stay in a Japanese hotel in Vietnam. Location is little bit outside of the town, but easy ride from airport and quick taxi ride to town. It’s nice to discover local places, for sure not touristy like Hanoi. "

"I will preface this review with that I went just after Super Typhoon Yagi. The hotel suffered a lot of damage and large parts of the hotel were closed off entirely. I know the resort would've suffered a lot financially because of this, but as a guest I was left a little miffed that I paid full price for part of the experience.
