"We stayed 2 couples for a week. The resort is beautiful set on the ocean unfortunately it was a rainy cool week but we enjoyed the pool, walks all around. The beds were super comfy great pillows!! The breakfast was good fresh juice cooked to order eggs or omelette as well as many Vietnamese options. The staff were amazing always trying their best. Only issue for us was ice lack of ice! but they tried to always find some for us. It was slow season so very quiet which was fine for us. We recommend this resort for R&R so peaceful!"

"Absolutely loved our few days here. Off season so it was quiet and at times the staff outnumbered us 3 to 1. They were unfailingly friendly, and everyone customer-facing spoke at least basic tourist English which I didn't expect but which was welcome - despite our best efforts for months, our Vietnamese is pitiful! A few staff spoke very good English, too. Super clean facilities that are so much nicer than photos indicate. We stayed in one of the bungalows which was spacious. Comfy beds as well as porch furniture, which made it easy to spend ages staring at the waves. Good AC and showers (water didn't get too hot tho). The water and beach were both clean and pleasantly sandy - baffled by the comments saying the beach is rocky underfoot. Surf was a little too strong for us to want to swim (did in the pool, which was clean though a bit odd without consistent depth). The tide and wind kept bringing in some plastic trash, which we gathered on beach walks because why not? Apparently the bar at the other end of the beach will give you free beer in exchange for collected beach rubbish if that motivates you. Food was EXCELLENT. For sure geared to Vietnamese taste but they did have western options if you got tired of the crazy fresh seafood and perfect noodles :) no breakfast buffet while we were there as not enough guests, but plenty of options cooked to order. Genuinely considered changing the rest of our travel plans just so we could stay here longer. Highly recommended! "

"We had a wonderful stay at The Ocean. We stayed for 3 nights in a Villa, 4 adults and one 1.5 yo baby. The Villa was well equipped and very comfortable. The master bedroom with a large bathroom and bathtub was great. The open concept living space was convenient, and well lit. The resort is new with excellent gym, large clean beautiful pool and play room for kids. There is only one restaurant, on the Maia Resort ground (neighbour). The menu was diverse with specialties every night (steak, chicken, Vietnamese...) and serves fresh and delicious food. One downside is that there is no other option for restaurant on the resort or walking distance, so be prepared to pay quiet a hefty price for food. We used the spa, it was fantastic, 4-hand massage and bamboo stick massage. Also quite expensive but very good service and serene environment. The beach is beautiful and very few people. It was rough weather, double red flag, so no swimming but beautiful for walks. Overall we loved this resort, the staff really is wonderful and made our stay great. We hope to be back. "
