"I love this place... a little known gem with the older elegance of 14ft ceilings, chandeliers, double doors to the rooms, (elegant curtains!) and a big modern bathroom with a tub! It is convenient... half a block from the main train station, on the quieter side towards the river. (I am 77 but feel safe here.) There is a big comfortable downstairs sitting area. Although on a main street, the windows are thick and keep out the noise. It serves a modest breakfast for 9 euros. The down side is that...

"Easy check in. Good looking traditional hotel. Lobby/foyer area lovely. Compared to the front of the hotel, the room was a little basic. Free minibar, and free coffee and cake available in foyer. Nice touch.Very hany location for hauptbanhof. "
