"As a history geek and a crafter, I immediately fell in love with this place, perched up on a hill, clearly seen from the main road. The current owners Ken and Sarah have lovingly restored the house to its 19th century elegance, whilst maintaining the 16th century Tudor elements. "An area of the bedroom carpet was very wet and we had to stand on it when accessing the wardrobe and when passing through the door. This was especially unpleasant during the night. The carpet showed no signs of drying out so the possible cause was a drainage leak from the adjacent shower room. The communal rubbish bins, located in the car park directly below the flats were overflowing with bagged and unbagged household rubbish dumped in many areas.
