"Affordable stay at a 4-star hotel. But our rooms were too hot. When we pointed out that the room temperature felt like 28 degrees when we set it at 23 degrees, the response of the reception was "it is winter. heating is turned on during the winter. try turning off the heater or open the window." Sorry but heaters are supposed to automatically turn off once the room temperature exceeds the set temperature. And even when we turned off heating and opened the window, the room temperature still did not drop."

"First of all, Pan Pac Suzhou (吴宫) is definitely worth the price. The scenery within the hotel premise is really fantastic, tranquil and serene. Makes you feel like you just stepped into a majestic chinese mansion. Breakfast buffet was so super good ! We had lunch at the Haitianlo restaurant, the food was very nice and affordable! There is a laundry room at lvl 1 with free washer dryer and detergent, laundry bags were provided too. The indoor pool was heated and there was a lifeguard on duty. Our room was at the XiXiaLou side. The hotel staff were very ftiendly and helpful, doorman was also very helpful! I would definitely return here if I come to Suzhou again. Would recommend to friends and family too."

"Perfect check in experiencs. Super helpful and we upgraded 2 rooms to executive suite so as to have connecting rooms as we have children travelling with us. Suite comes with free bfast, afternoon tea and dinner at the club house. Nice view at 40th floor club house Every staff was attention to details! Didnt manage to get the name of a staff serving bfast at 2nd floor. She saw us pouring milk to our coffee and immediately made a cup of hot milk for our coffee! Superb service from check in to bfast to dinner to even then cleaning ladies. Location is good too. Highly recommended hotel!"
