"This hotel was quite a treat. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice. The room was modest, but perfect for our family of 4. The view from our balcony was amazing. It had a nice little kitchen with a small refrigerator. There were no screens for the windows, but we didn’t have a need for them. We saw lots of wildlife around the property. Our only gripe was a lack of hot water in the shower. We stayed one night and had a great stay."

"Nepenthe is a gem. You need to grab this stay for as long as it stays a gem, the owners are getting older and are actively trying to sell. Make this trip, you will not regret it. "Highly recommended location, I really enjoyed staying here at this family run B&B. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really nice, my room was great, very quiet and comfy. The gardens are lovely and there is a great little deck to watch the sunset. Although the place is down and unpaved road I was only in a tiny 2wd car and this (and everywhere else in the area) easily accessible, just take it very slow. Would definitely stay here again "

"There was no communication between staff and guest because the staff "acted" like they couldnt speak english and when i used a spanish app they acted like they had no clue until they needed my money then suddenly they understood what i said and english. "The property was fabulous. We had a 3 bedroom cabin and each bedroom had it's own bathroom. It was nicely furnished. We didnt cook, but all the necessities were there. The grounds were amazing! There were wonderful hiking trails and a lookout where you could see to the Pacific Ocean. There was a hydroponic garden where you could pick vegetables. My grandson loved the hammock on the deck. The whole experience was so peaceful. I highly recommend this property! "
