"The house is old but kept clean and cozy. It is at a high position on the mountain with a good view of the forest and the ocean. "Five of us stayed here for a week in June. Me, wife, 2 kids, and my mother. This property fit all our needs. I think it was nicer than the pictures. Internet was fast. Location was good(only 5 minutes from town center). House was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was furnished well. Favorite part was of course the pool, swim up bar, and waterfall. We will book again if ever in the area!"

"Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, we felt safe at all times with the gated community with a security officer checking all visitors before entering the premises. The layout of the house was cool and our grown up kids enjoyed the pool and open area of the house. Best part is definitely the location, it is close by to the town and just a bit far enough from the town center to avoid all the noise. Stay here for a great experience in La Fortuna."

"The property is lovely and worked for our extended family of 8. We were in walking distance for dinner every night. Being in La fortuna for several days worked well so we didn’t have to combine too many activities in one day and could enjoy the pool in the afternoon. "

"The place was very cute but the check in for us was a nightmare. Could not get in contact with anyone and couldn’t find the exact location. Hotels.com was on the verge of finding us another place because nobody would answer the phone at the number provided when luckily another property owner knew of the place and helped us find it. Should just say in the listing to check in at Mar hotel or Don Taco."

"We loved our stay in this cozy cabin. The location was stunning although I would not recommend for someone with mobility issues as the walk up/down is steep but there are stairs. The place is rustic and there were some bugs, after all it is literally in the jungle. I thought it was charming. It is the rainy season so the trees grow quickly and thus the view was obstructed. The property manager was very attentive and answered all of our questions. Would stay here again, no doubt."
