"We loved our stay here - our initial worry that it was a little far from town and the slopes was unfounded, as the bus shuttle service that the hotel ran was prompt and could take us anywhere at any time. The food was exceptional and great value for money, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were good, if not a little basic. "

"A snowy winter wonderland! This hotel exceeded all our expectations—the room, restaurant, and spa were all great. However, the best part hands down was the staff! Every person was so welcoming, friendly, and professional and made us feel like we had been coming there for years. It’s a fun spot for families, but amidst the kids and activities we still had a lovely romantic visit because of the extra special touches that were made for us(Grazie Sergio!)"

"Here for the XTERRA world championships. It did the trick for accessibility. Apartment spacious, clean and well equipped, although sparse in charachter. A good deal for the price and comfortable for a longer stay. Great views!"

"Perfect spot for our family to participate in Xterra. Right across the road from race area by yhe beach. We wanted a spot with kitchen and washing machine. Drying rack provided in each room. We like independence, so not the place for you if you prefer a concierge type of stay. Grocery store is a block away. Great views of mountains. "

"Casa da Carmen is a lovely property, everything is brand new and functions well. The breakfast was beautiful and the service very attentive. The hot tub and the views are incredible. Although, we weren’t aware there would be a charge (10€ per person) to use the hot tub. "This hotel is mediocre in every aspect. A facility that does not give value for money. The rooms look like ruins. There is no iron on the upper bunk bed, the safety deposit box is scrap, the cabinets are scattered. You cannot see a relevant official at the facility. They sell rooms all over the world for tourists, but they do not have staff who speak proper English. Except for the two Romanian ladies working in room cleaning, there is no one who greets or cares. "I would stay at hotel again. We stayed for a week for skiing with two kids (6yo and 3yo). It was very convenient. The ski school was next door and the rental shop was down stairs. The hotel is very kid friendly. There is a kids club (TH Land) and they were awesome! They picked up the kids from ski school. The primary negative about the hotel was the dinner schedule. They don’t serve dinner until 730pm, which was not all that convenient with smaller kids (note most restaurants in town didn’t open till 6pm either). The snacks at the bar were limited and not a great option to hold the kids over."

"The hotel is located about 150 meters away from the ski resort and rental/ school, a very convenient location. They do provide a shuttle service as well, which makes our ski trip easy and comfortable. The owner and all other staff are friendly and helpful, and very clean, nice Layoutroom. We enjoyed staying there and Will definitely go back again. "
