"Staff was very friendly. Joel was great on check in and out. Not a hotel but more of a motel but we felt it was nice and comfortable. We had to walk up stairs which for older people might not be ok but maybe a first floor room would be available. We were 2 couples 80 and 72."

"Used to live in St. Augustine and we were in Vilano many times. Hadn't been in about five years and it has grown quite a bit. Many more hotel options. This property is only a year old and it is still in like new condition. Public areas clean and comfortable, room well appointed and the addition of Michael Lugo's restaurant concepts is a major plus...both formal and informal dining venues on the first floor and a roof-top facility open Thursday thru Sunday. Ate two evening meals there and the food was excellent, so was the service. If I had to find a negative it would be the ice machine. We like a cocktail in our room in the evening prior to going out to dinner...that requires ice...and the only ice machine for guest use on the property was on the third floor. That was a long way from our room and took a lengthy walk and two elevator rides each night just for ice. "
