"This B&B is right in the heart of historic St. Augustine and you can walk everywhere! The home is spectacular with antique furnishings and the staff is fantastic. "My wife and I spent 3 nights in July 2024. On property parking is a definite perk. The my wife and I fell in love with St. Francis as soon as we arrived. Beautiful courtyard and quaint inn. The breakfast was good and coffee was also great and always available. Everyone was so nice and helpful with directions and ideas of what to do for our first visit to St. Augustine. "The Southern Wind Inn was a fantastic place to stay, very convenient to the old St. Augustine area. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to go to. If you don't mind walking a little further, there is a convenience store about a mile away, also a nice walk. My only request for them is to improve the door sealing around the doors - it is an older building so getting some weather stripping on the doors will help with keeping the outside noises and weather out.
