"I was only staying overnight but I was very comfortable - I am over 80 and disabled so that was very important. The only problem was that although I thought I had booked an accessible room I hadn't so it is important to talk to the reception team - who swiftly corrected that and found me an accessible room within a few minutes. I didn't like the AI receptionist who answered the phone but she is easily sidestepped by just insisting 'Manager' and you get put through. The dinner was very good."

The shower has a power saver machine on it but the problem is the hot water cycles from cold to warm to scalding and around and around so you constantly have to dip under and out. "This house is beautiful and sparse. We were a group of 8 adults and the house did not feel crowded at all. Unfortunately, the BBQ shown in the garden images does not work, however this was not necessarily mentioned as an amenity in the listing. The only place this house loses points is in its cleanliness - this really was not up to standard, as mentioned in previous reviews. Shower drains were full of hair from previous visitors; multiple bedrooms had either old food, empty wine or water...
