"Nice 3 star hotel, exceeded our expectations considering we didn't expect the best conditions after reading the reviews. Yes, it is a lot of stairs and hills but we didn't mind it, it was good exercise. We had an amazing breakfast every morning at the sister hotel, which is connected to Los Olivos, so it could be the same hotel. Fresh omelet cooked on order, pancakes, breads, meats, English breakfast, plentiful for everyone. Dinner menu not amazing, but plenty of choice, we tried it a couple of nights, and it was tasty. We even had entertainment one evening, good fun. The gym was all right, if you want to exercise. Very impressed with the swimming pool, warm every evening when we used it, generally staff was very friendly and trying to help. Our apartment was great, AC, kitchen with everything you need, we cooked a few times and it was perfect. The sofa is slightly dirty and old but my daughter was happy sleeping on the pull out bed. Two terraces, one as balcony, the other one on the roof. Beach 5 min walk, supermarket 2min, we really enjoyed our stay. "

"Went on couples trip. Lovely hotel. Very lively better suited to children. We arrived late - asked for some food- even though all inclusive paid for nothing at all could be offered. Staff okay. Dining area very busy. Rooms amazing- kitchen well equipped "

"It is a lovely hotel with great facilities for adults. The check-in was very good and lovely helpful staff. Our junior suite was a great size with a balcony overlooking the pool. We were staying half board and the food especially at breakfast was excellent. There was the opportunity to sit outside on the terrace which was very nice indeed as the views were amazing. The pool area was lovely and we managed to get sun loungers each morning. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely return or visit another Meliá hotel. "

"We had a wonderful 2nd visit here. Pros- * Andrew and Aimara in the animations team are fantastic! We loved their daytime activities, especially the aquacise, glass jewellery making and sangria workshop. *The weather in Tenerife is lovely. As someone who has pale, freckly skin I appreciated the reliable air-conditioning in our bedroom, and all the parasols at the pool. It was also a delight that the pool was nicely heated every day. *Vero in the omelette station works so hard and greets very customer with a good morning, then a delicious omelette. *Almost all the hotel staff are very friendly and professional. The folk in reception, the cleaners, the pool attendants are all brilliant! *At the pool, staff occasionally bring round free icecream or drinks. This was much appreciated! Cons- *At times staff take away glasses which are not completely empty from the poolside or bedroom, when the guest is not there. Many customers are all-inclusive, but we are not, so didn't appreciate coming back from a swim to find our half finished drink had gone. *The price is off-putting. It cost us almost 3000 euro for 11 days. We will return, but not for another couple of years as it is very expensive. *The Gourmet Market set-up is still a bit confused. We had to speak to 4 or 5 servers on both occasions when we were there, to get what we had ordered. All in all though, we absolutely loved our holiday at the Sabila, and throughly recommend it!"

"Our second time here in 5 months. This time we had a 1 bedroom for the 2 of us. Apartment is spacious & they have considered so much. Supplied with dishwasher & washing machine ( not all apartments), & the washing pods as well as dishcloths, brooms mops, etc. Fabulous sized terrace with amazing sea views, supplied with table, chairs beds and umbrella. Spotlessly clean on arrival, however the decor is a bit tired. Kitchen units could do with new doors as laminate is warping. My main gripe is the bathroom sink is set so far back into the huge vanity unit, that only a very tall person could reach the soap on the back wall. I am a petite lady and could not comfortably wash my teeth, or hands. I had to go to the kitchen. A child could not cope either. The huge bed is sooo comfortable, some of the drawers in the bedroom had a mildewy smell. Lovely pool area. Both restaurants we found great service, price and quality. I thought the on site supermarket had poor choices, unless you’re a child, no variety, poor fresh fruit quality and overpriced. We had a car hire as property is in the hills and not many shops around, so we went to Lidl, and any walk would be up a very steep hill. Plenty of free parking. Lovely staff & very obliging. "
