"Stayed 4 nights during Oktoberfest and really enjoyed the experience of staying out in the country for the days we explored Oktoberfest/Munich! Although we had a rental car (due to the fact that we were exploring other areas of Bavaria before and after Munich), we certainly didn't need to use it on these specific days, as the train is very convenient to get into Munich! Just be sure to coordinate departure times to/from Munich with the train schedule, as during non-peak hours the train runs far less frequently. We timed leaving Oktoberfest just perfectly in the early evening so that we didn't have to wait an hour on train platform. On a rainy day, we decided to drive to the Aßling train station instead of walking, and parking is plentiful and very inexpensive - only 1 Euro for the day. The car was also handy to have when going into town to eat & pick up groceries, but there are a couple of restaurants and stores within walking distance for those arriving without a vehicle. Overall, great host, excellent communication, and all the amenities needed for a terrific stay! Really appreciated the 2 beers in the fridge upon arrival (nice touch!) - thank-you! Will definitely stay again someday when we return to Germany/Oktoberfest! :-)"

"We were in Glonn for 4 days in October and had a wonderful stay. This vacation rental is the best equipped unit I have ever been in. It features two full bedrooms, free laundry and a beautiful outdoor patio with views over the town. The house is quiet and secure. Bathrooms and showers are great. The beds were very comfortable. There is a path that provides a shortcut if you want to walk to town - less than 10 minutes. Glonn is a quaint Bavarian village and worth seeing. Communications were easy. If you stay here you should probably have your own car as there is no direct train access to Munich. We were lucky enough to have friends in the area so this was not a problem for us. With that one caveat, I I would have no hesitation recommending it to anyone wanting a spacious, quiet and comfortable place in the Munich area. "

"This hotel was excellent. Close to direct train to Munich. Close to shops and eateries. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was a good size and breakfast had a large range of food to choose from. The directions and check in were spot on. Easy parking, although the construction going on did make it a bit tricky but nothing a u turn couldn't fix. Totally recommend this hotel."
