"If you’re expecting the Ritz, this isn’t for you. Clean, warm, ensuite, comfy bed and safe with 3 locked doors to get to your room. Staff were lovely and really helpful."

"This is a great guest house and who includes breakfast anymore?? My cousin and I stayed for one night and our room was very warm, cozy, and the owner made us very welcome. He went above and beyond with breakfast the next morning and cooked up custom meals for each of us! I would definitely stay here again since it is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the Largs train station, and who doesn’t love excellent hospitality and service?! Highly recommended"

"dog friendly, staff a bit inexperienced as breakfast was not set up this may be due to time of year and not usual staff member as l was the only guest, room and facilities need a spruce up. "

"Fab location, really nice place. Would recommend. Maybe just check with the owner when the heating is due to come on. We didn't think to and it was cold. Other than that had a good stay. "

"We had a two night stay at 2 stones. Ben greeted us and was very welcoming, friendly & informative. We had a fabulous view looking out over loch Long. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. A decent sized bathroom although the shower was a little 'snug'. There was traffic noise from the road but it didn't affect our stay. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choices. We would definitely return."

"Our stay at Douglas Park was simply wonderful. From trying to spot dolphins out the windows at breakfast to warm welcomes from Tilly and Ken after a rainy day out. Ken is an absolutely wonderful host whose hospitality is exemplary! Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"We thought we were booking into an Inn with facilities but its a complex of Lodges which are being constructed and a building site. There was no superior room, we were in a Lodge away from the main building as that has just been hanged into rooms with a few tables and chairs in the kitchen for breakfast.. The restaurant hasn't been built yet awaiting planning permission. This is not what we booked on our Anniversary Trip through Scotland - very disappointing We nearly fell over the raised...
