"My family and I enjoyed this hotel. The location was good, it felt like a mostly safe area (though we were approached a couple of times by people asking for money while standing out front). Valet parking at the hotel is pricey (expected in downtown Chicago), but we parked in a garage around the corner for less ($53). The happy hour was nice- limited snacks, but the complimentary drinks, 2 per evening, were appreciated! And the breakfast offerings were pretty good, but get there early! I believe it runs 6:30am-9:30am, but after 7:30-8, it gets pretty busy. The coffee was just ok, so I went to the Starbucks next door for my morning coffee fixes. My son enjoyed the pool, but it gets pretty crowded later in the evening (closes at 10pm). Plenty of elevators, never had to wait long. And the desk staff, along with the food staff, were great! Would definitely stay here again."

"Check-in was smooth. Mz Cookie at the front desk gets special mention for making us feel very welcome. The room was small but neat. It was very clean, and very quiet. The location was very convenient for our destinations in Old Town and Near North Side. Also, my wife the coffee snob says the latte from the bar in the lobby was really good. "

"What an exceptional property! Perfect for a two-person getaway. It's right around the corner from shops and restaurants in the terrific Gold Coast neighborhood. Beautiful, modern decor with vintage building charm. It is very safe, quiet and comfortable - we got great sleep here. The host was communicative and everything was very easy. Definitely plan to come back to this gem!"

"Beautiful old Gold Coast Townhouse within walking distance of everything we needed. Spacious accommodations with a lovely large dining area and comfortable TV lounging area at back of house. Close to plenty of dining options and Lake Michigan. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and bedding. Plenty of towels, coffee and tea. Comfy robes in every bedroom. Overall a wonderful experience."
