"We enjoyed our 5 night stay. The unit is as described, very clean, nice modern decor and with many items to enhance your stay. Being a basement unit it was a bit cold, and the heat is controlled from the main house. But the hosts were quick to respond to messages and a request for the heat to be bumped up for comfort. There was also a space heater provided which we took advantage of. The bed was very comfortable, but note low to the floor if you have any joint/mobility challenges. The steps down...

"Perfect place to stay for a fun weekend in Chicago! The decor and overall setup of the space was very trendy, charming, and welcoming! Looks just as the listing describes and photos show. Neighborhood was pretty quiet and easy to find street parking close by. The host was very responsive when we had a question too! Kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of hot water for 5 people to shower, and the beds were firm but comfy! Would just recommend that the top bunk only be for a child or young...

"Very clean. Great location. Well stocked. I also really appreciated there were not 10 pages of check out instructions. 2 blocks to Starbucks. 2 blocks to the CTA. 1 block to a small grocery store/deli. Great diner 2 blocks away. It is above a popular neighborhood bar. Friday night was fairly loud, Saturday was not bad, Sunday was quiet. Overall great experience and would stay again if visit friends in this area of town. "

Parking can be a little tricky, but the fact that its free helps a lot! Toby is a wonderful host. You'll feel taken care of, and enjoy your time at this property!"

"Very nice little place in a very nice neighborhood! Intimidatingly nice houses around, lots to look at. ONLY issue is the place is above the owner’s garage, so the garage door opening and closing is a little loud. Not a major issue though! Very nice, would stay again."
