"Booked the blythswood hotel as a treat for my partner and have been looking forward to it for months. Staff were very accommodating, the room was stunning and the spa was excellent. Service could have been slightly better. Ordered room service - they forgot items from our order. For breakfast the food wasn’t great - ordered poached eggs which when arrived were hard boiled. "Friendly staff, large comfortable rooms, very tasty food but central heating in all communal areas seemed turned off (radiators all cold) so uncomfortably cold in the restaurant and lounge areas. Guests wearing coats to keep warm. Heating in bedrooms fine. "
