"Hotel room was very clean and comfortable perfect for our overnight stay. Breakfast had a good choice and well cooked and prepared. Only thing i was disappointed with was parking £15 even though im a blue badge holder. "

"First room we was given smelt of cigarette smoke this was quickly changed after noting this to reception. Rooms are very basic and the hotel could use some updating in hall areas. Food/breakfast was plentifully! We arrived late for breakfast but they quickly fixed up a full English breakfast and allowed us to access the continental breakfast area. Staff were beyond amazing! Parking was easy and it's a short walk from the city centre. Basic and convenient. Lovely walk around the hotel."

"Good overall standard hotel convenient for city centre (14mins walk) with a reasonably sized free car park. Room of a good size, very comfortable bed. Priced very competitively."

"Wonderful Hotel super views great room and sumptuous dinner. Breakfast was a little disappointing after a great dinner only one chef running a full buffet style breakfast with overdone bacon and sausages dried out under the hot service lights I had to ask for fresh everything as there wasn’t eggs mushrooms tomatoes or fried bread "

"The hotel is lovely and the staff helpful. I asked for a room change because I like to look out onto the street, which they kindly did. It is in the heart of town but that does mean its not the nicest of areas to walk around at night. Pubs and clubs are right there, so great if you're planning on going out out :)"

"I really liked the blending of the features of an historic building with modern amenities. There were explanations of the history of the building without it being in your face and looking like a museum. The buildings provided lots of pleasant areas to relax in. The staff were excellent and friendly."
