Not so good - Bathroom with zero character (so different to the bedroom), breakfast was bland and average at best. Nothing of any interest within walking distance. Overall a solid 8/10 and worth a stay."

"It’s a nice enough hotel, quite old fashioned, but spa area is lovely - outdoor pool small but warm enough on October. Sauna & hot tub were wonderful. Just a real shame that the hotel didn’t have views of Rutland Water - it really could be in any field anywhere in the UK. "
