"Around 2006, the owners, Jacqueline and Daniel, decided to turn an old stone house near their own place into a Gite. The work was done with a lot of care. The main area has a master bedroom and bath. For families with children, the attic space has an additional 3 beds and a half-bath. Off the kitchen-dining area is a large enclosed garden with table and chairs for outdoor eating. "Property and grounds are great we loved it 😎 The host could soften the communication a bit, normal you get an email before you leave saying..hope you’ve had a great time, would love to see you again not we remind you of the contract rules including don’t leave any toothpaste marks in the sink…..etc..etc. a bit harsh it felt like being warned and told off by the teacher !!!!!!!"

"Ambiance familiale dans ce petit village de vacances situé à l'écart du village de Salviac où se trouve un petit supermarché, et à une petite 1/2 heure de la vallée très touristique de la Dordogne ( principaux châteaux, balades en canoë, etc ). "Great location, very peaceful. Perfect host. Terrific accommodation, everything you could possibly need is provided. "

"Our room was not secure on our arrival. The key was in the door. The room did not appear to be fully prepared. There was no cover for the bedding or no towels, etc. Space was not great especially by the inside the bed where it was very narrow where I had to shuffle sideways to get in and out of the bed. The cooker combination only partly worked. The oven would not worked. The clothes line was falling apart and the barbecue equipment was one barbecue fork, later joined by tongs. "

"Beautiful property and well maintained grounds. Close to many beautiful towns, villages, chateaux and gardens and the gourmet centre of Sarlat. Lovely peaceful surroundings. The only gripe we had was that the pool was not heated for the last week of our stay (14-21st Sept) despite this being advertised. The owner did respond and send his handyman to turn it back on initially but didn't respond to further messages when the heating went off again. It should have been 27c and was only 19c."

"The perfect house for a family holiday. We loved the garden, pool and all the different areas and the fully equipped house felt like a home from home. It was handy that the local town was so near and had all we really needed but also lots to see and do around. Communication with the owner was very good. It was everything we needed, and more!! We are already planning our next trip!"
