"Around 2006, the owners, Jacqueline and Daniel, decided to turn an old stone house near their own place into a Gite. The work was done with a lot of care. The main area has a master bedroom and bath. For families with children, the attic space has an additional 3 beds and a half-bath. Off the kitchen-dining area is a large enclosed garden with table and chairs for outdoor eating. "A lovely little cottage in such a peaceful location - perfect for time to get away from everything . The swimming pool was a real bonus and Ann Elise was the perfect host . We were able to enjoy time to ourselves as well as being able to explore the area . The cottage had everything we needed , and more , very comfortable and a real home from home . "Our room was not secure on our arrival. The key was in the door. The room did not appear to be fully prepared. There was no cover for the bedding or no towels, etc. Space was not great especially by the inside the bed where it was very narrow where I had to shuffle sideways to get in and out of the bed. The cooker combination only partly worked. The oven would not worked. The clothes line was falling apart and the barbecue equipment was one barbecue fork, later joined by tongs. "

"Beautiful property and well maintained grounds. Close to many beautiful towns, villages, chateaux and gardens and the gourmet centre of Sarlat. Lovely peaceful surroundings. The only gripe we had was that the pool was not heated for the last week of our stay (14-21st Sept) despite this being advertised. The owner did respond and send his handyman to turn it back on initially but didn't respond to further messages when the heating went off again. It should have been 27c and was only 19c."
