The food served were amazing and looked beautiful which was beyond our imagination. Though the property itself offers only smoking rooms, we as non-smokers didn't find it a problem at all. And parking is free. We would definitely recommend it."

"Easily the best place I stayed in whilst in Japan. It’s a ryokan and yet it has full 5 star hotel features. I chose a room with a private outdoor Onsen bath and kaiseki dinner option. Room was huge (75sq/m) with a separate bedroom, living room and sitting area with a wood burner. I started the fire and sat there for hours in between my private lovely hot onsen. There was also a vast public sitting room with massage chairs overlooking the shrine. Gorgeous. Mealtimes I looked forward to as it was...
