"it seems to be in the more industrial part of town, but also where the universities are located. it's not a far walk to buchanon street which has a metro and a lot of excitement around it. i really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a more local location."

"Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting a relative in Glasgow. Very convenient just off M74 on the way into Glasgow with great free parking (I could keep an eye on my car from my room) friendly staff nice bar area with some food options or a Toby carvery close by and rooms were clean and nicely furnished with comfy bed and good shower. Good price and a nice buffet breakfast included. Would stay again."

"The stay from booking on line to the end could not have been better. I am disabled and my mobility is poor so the room was built around my needs. I had a problem with a leak in the bathroom and when I reported it the plumber was in attendance within five minutes. My friends and I had lunch on the second day and it was lovely. The only complaint was it could have been warmer. Nothing was a problem to any of the staff from checking in to breakfast to cleaners and everyone I spoke to was extremely helpful. It definitely warranted 5 stars. "

"It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. The hosts were charming and attentive. It was fun to talk with them and the other guests, and the breakfast (made specially for each guest) was some of the best food I had while in the UK. The bathroom was pretty small, and the shower was one of those stand-alone ones that looks a bit like a box, but the bathroom and room were always very clean. The parking was a bit tight when every spot was full (I had a large rental car), but there was enough space for everyone. There was a cute bakery that is open in the mornings (and only takes cash) across the street as well as a post office and convenience store. The location isn't close to anything major, but it is nicely situated if you have a car and are hoping to travel to different places around Scotland. The wifi was great. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. In particular, I appreciated the wonderful hosts who you could tell truly cared about all their guests and who go out of their way to make everyone's stay enjoyable. "

"The property matched and/or exceeded expectations. All pre-arrival communications were promptly responded to and fully helpful. The key access pickup and return arrangement is a bit inconvenient but the process worked fine. Access to the train and nearby restaurants was very good and within walking distance. Accommodations were well-appointed, quiet, modern and stylish. We would certainly book again in the future. "
