"Stayed a weekend with a large group of family. Overall the home was nice but definitely a little dated. Boards on the back deck area and near the pool would noticeably sink in while standing on them. The pool was OK, definitely aged and not very clean. Lots of empty beer/drink cans around outside of pool. Unfortunately upon check-in the home had not been cleaned. Most beds were dirty and all bathrooms had used towels thrown on the floor. "The house was exactly as described. Steps away from the beach. Beautiful view. The plus for us it was dog friendly and the only way on and off the upper deck is through the door, so no worries about my dog sneaking off the deck. Had a great time!"

"This property is very private and the house is amazingly spacious. The house is in need of updates. Carpets were dirty/stained. Door locks are antiquated (not in a good way). We had major trouble unlocking and locking the front door (but the manager was quick to help us). The pool was cloudy and the hot tub didn't heat up (ok since in Oct). "We had a fantastic stay in Galveston! The location was perfect, close to everything we needed, and the fishing in the area was great. The accommodations were comfortable and set us up for an enjoyable trip overall. However, there were a couple of drawbacks.
