The house was in the perfect central location for day trips to explore all parts of the island. From the host guiding us in by phone when we got turned around, to the pleasant housekeeper who met us at the property to check in to the spectacular views of the ocean and perfectly stocked home, our stay could not have been better. "The Blue House was a wonderful home away from home. From the many windows are beautiful views of the sea and coastline. The host welcomed us with a bottle of wine, local cheese and bread, and basics like eggs, butter etc… It is best to have a rental car as it is about a 20 min drive to the Ponta Delgada and the airport."

"Beautiful place and location on a one way street, a busy street, parking could be a problem. But we could always find a spot somewhere. The house had everything you would need. We found the top three steps of the stairs difficult for the 2 small children. Small grocery store right across the road, bakery up the road. Short walk to the ocean, fishing harbour, restaurants and shops We experienced 3 festival or celebrations in our week there. We would stay there again"

"A wonderful vacation home. There were 13 of us who stayed in a very spacious house. All the amenities that you could need and more. The pool and hot tub were very nice and well maintained. We rented the large van from the owners and were able to drive around the island easily. Thank you to the hosts for a very nice stay"

"This is a beautiful home that has been newly renovated with a cozy enclosed, private outdoor patio. Great location being close to downtown. Easy to walk to restaurants, groceries and the harbour front. Our host was amazing and went above and beyond what was required to ensure are needs were met for a wonderful visit to this island. "Our stay was perfect! Very happy we picked this spot. Many extra nice touches when we arrived. Although we indulged and ate out for all our meals it was nice to know the kitchen was fully stocked if we needed it. Especially greatfull for the beach towels as we didn't bring any. Our host was amazing. Leonardo was so quick with communication and so nice to offer us a ride to the airport for our early morning flight. Great recommendation on the car rental, which was literally 30 seconds away and...
