"I loved this house!"

"My family and I brought my mother, who’s family originated in the azores here for a family vacation and it was an absolute blast. The place was incredible, the house was clean and well maintained. The pool was a huge hit with the kids and very refreshing after a long day of hiking and exploring the island. The outdoor shower was nice to clean beach sand off and rinse off before going into the house. The wood fired grill was great for a few nights we stayed in for dinner. We had more than enough...

"We have stayed in many rental properties around the world, and I've never written a poor review until now. But I just can't recommend this house. It is -- as it appears -- an architecturally interesting house, in a terrific location, with a delightful setting offering green views and outdoor space to enjoy (particularly handy with a 9 year-old boy in tow). "We were greeted by Sandra, she was an excellent host, easy communication and she helped us with places to visit during our stay. The property was amazing with a little farm near by, with chickens, gooses, turkeys … the sunsets and sunrises were amazing. The location was near the airport and other view points. Upon arrival we were greeted with a fresh basket of eggs,bread,milk… We will return in the futur!"

"Joao's house is beautiful, with room for 8 people. If you like gardens, you will love this place. The garden is absolutely lovely, with a beautiful view of the coast from one spot. Hot tub, BBQ, all great. Nice location walking distance from 2 good restaurants. Very warm and friendly host."
