"We loved the decor. We spent a lot of time looking at the pictures and the second floor activity room. Unfortunately, some of the castle was closed because it's winter and there was a lot of ice. The room was clean. It had a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. The room was extremely warm and I didn't know how to put the air-conditioner on, so we had trouble sleeping. They had a restaurant and bar, but it was closed. We ended up walking to a local bar, Shorty's Southside, where we had dinner and a couple drinks. "

"Very nice property and attached to the casino and restaurants. Had a great stay. Only thing I wasn’t a fan of is, I thought most of the rooms facing the canal had balconies. They do not. But overall it’s great would recommend. "

"When I made my reservation I noted in the special assistance section that I preferred a ground floor room due to hip and knee replacement. Upon arrival, found out no ground floor so front desk lady said she could move me to 1st floor. I was happy and appreciative. I had prepaid via Expedia. Female said room found and then told additional $15. I declined the move as thought a ‘switch and bait’ tactic. Also would prefer a coffee machine in the room. Not a deal breaker. Everything else was fine. "

"Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and a generally great experience. This is a very well managed motel. Of course it isn't the Ritz, but dies not pretend to be. I am completely satisfied with my two night stay."
